25+ years ago we used to "y-fronts" younger male pupils at school. "To pants" is a better phrase and less clumsy.

We also used to "waggerise" them by placing them in bins with legs and arms sticking up. I myself received and dispensed this unusual activity. Ah, the good old days of the British Empire.

In the completely redneck backwater parts of the US they call pants/underwear Drawers. Nobody knows why...and nobody asks, either, as Pants of this variety tend to always be stained the most thouroughly unappealing shade of yellow imaginable.....smiley - biggrin

I live in West-Central Alabama and my "drawers" used to come out of the wash yellow. This was due to the fact that we used to use well water for washing clothes. Our well water had iron in it and that somehow made our "underwear" come out less than white. Since then however, we've gotten city water and our "pants" now come out as white as when they went in.

I'm thinking about getting a water softener. Our water is so hard everything comes out grey...and scratchy. My ex-husband used to say drawers all the time. He was from PA, but he was as red-neck as they come. even had a van (non-running, ofc) up on blocks on his lawn.
Ah, the good ol dayssmiley - laugh

Anyway, I was being facetious, so I hope you didn't take offense. Some of the coolest people I know are southerners...altho I do get tired of being called a loud-mouth pushy yankeesmiley - winkeye
