smiley - wahHi Can anyone help, a gr8 bone of contention at the moment, do nettles sting all year round? I think that they do and my other half thinks they don't- can someone resolve the arguement? PLease............

They generally don't live all year around - mine started growing in March and the baby ones don't seem to sting, but I've been stung right up until they're completely dead.

It is 18/10/08 I have just been stung by nettles in our garden while I was picking pears.The poison in the nettle is Histamin and it his made my chest worse so I am having to take an anti-histamine,because I have Asthma and Bronchitis.We deliberately left the nettles as Peacock Butterflies lay their eggs on them.smiley - sadface
