That leg over comment reminds me of another famous line from what I think I've been told was a 1950s Ashes Test. Apparently a dog ran on and interrupted play and the commentator, grabbing for something to say announced "I bet that dog's a good bowler?", when asked why he responded: "Because he's got four short legs and his balls swing both ways."
