I'm sorry, but I am a local and everybody here pronounces Prinknash as "Prinidge". So I must disagree with what I have read here.

Thanks for posting that here. We have one or two Gloucestershire researchers, so if they can confirm, then I'll be happy to get it updated. I'll go and ask one of them.
The version I used came from a number of sources, including my in-laws, who live near Bristol - maybe they speak a bit odd down there!
Does everyone say 'prinnidge' or does it vary at all (as in Shrewsbury).
