Hi,smiley - ok
I planning to move back to the states after living a number of years in Europe. I think New York City or surrounding areas would be a perfect place for me to settle. But I'm still in Europe and won't be returning until March of 2005. I want to live somewhere which is multicultural, has decent schools. Could you give me some tips?

For diversity, you'd want cortelyou road in brooklyn. It was voted the most diverse neighborhood in the us by us news and world report magazine.

I don't know about the public schools there, but the houses are pretty nice if you can afford them, not the ones on courtelyou, but the surrounding streets.
