Probably because I am not Brittish, but I have seen The Plank so many times!
One a side note: It seems to me that being an alcoholic would be more damaging than being a workoholic.

you've never heard of Tommy Cooper!
you poor soul, i highly recommend you get a video out of his, late 70's was a good era for him
