It's interesting and moving.
It satisfied the voyeur part of me who wanted to read gory details, but it was also touching with nice details, like the crematory flames color. There is some kind of poetry to it.

Agreed, a great entry. Combined the necassary scientific coldness in the detail with emotion in the proper measures. Nice work.

I loved this entry. Lots of interesting detail without being deliberately gory, nor shying away from it where gore was necessary - loved the bit about the abdomen bursting under internal pressures, for example. Nice.
So I guess, now, I have a choice to make: cremation or decomposition? Myself I like the idea of all the pretty colours, so cremation it is - but I'm glad I won't be around to see it!
