I love this word but I can never use it in a conversation because I have never heard it spoken and don't know how to pronounce it. Can you enlighten me.

It goes something like [shadenfroide]. Sch a bit like 'sh' in shine, and 'eu' is a diphtong and pronounced like 'oy' in joy. smiley - smiley
