Literally: there's a limit or border
In practice: enough is enough

"Hayesh gvul latsiniyut?" is a common phrase at a little school in the south of jerusalm... it means "is there a limit for sarcasm?"

yesh gvul means "there's a line", "enough is enough" or "untill here". but in israel there is a group that call itself "yesh gvul", and that is a group of young men and women that are saying that they won't go the serve the militry, because they won't do whatever the country ask them to, if they think that it is a wrong thing to do - and the members of this group think that what the militry of israel does to the palestinian towns and people is very wrong.
