Great article! I really enjoyed it. All the information will be stored carefully to be reproduced in pub quizzes etc.
The acronym lends itself to improvement, I believe. I wonder if anyone else has thought of one?

In this modern world there is too much confustion between acroynms, mnemonic, and initialisations and soon the very barriers of language will fall !!
Besides people are being pedantic at me and I need to vent some nit picking elsewhere

I'm quite happy for you to point it out. No harm done. In fact if we're trading pedantry isn't a mnemonic the phrase that is formed rather than the list of letters?

Actually, I wrote this article to support my Entry on 'Categorised Mnemonics', which is at A2786321.
If you're in the mood for writing mnemonics, a good mnemonic should have some connection with what it is you wish to remember. A good example is the one for memorising the solar system planets:
My Very Easy Method Just Speeds Up Naming Planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Pluto).
