I recall the original entry going through to edited status, it was a very long time ago, so this update is going to be great

A couple of things I noticed on second run-through:

Seasson 1 has an extra "s"

Footnote one "sarah" needs to have a capital "S"

(Known as 'The Scoobies') = (known as 'The Scoobies')

10th March 1997 = house-style for dates is: 10 March, 1997



Your last header "In The End" can you put the text after it into tags, so it separates from the header



Your headers "What is a Slayer" and "What is a Watcher" need to either:
Have a question mark at the end - or - turn them round thus:
"What Slayers Are" and "What Watchers Are"



I've re-read your entry and I can't find an explanation for "Potentials" - I know what you mean because I watch the show - but other people may not know so you need to clarify that they're Slayers-in-waiting (or your own words...) a footnote or one sentence after you mention them would work I reckon



Footnote 8 appears after the full-stop, it needs to be before the full-stop.

When one Slayer dies, another (called a 'Potential') is called and trained by a Watcher. A Watcher serves by guiding the Slayer on her path. It is the Watchers destiny to guide the Slayer.

My understanding was that the potentials were girls who could theoretically be called to be slayers. Once one slayer dies and the next was called from the potentials, that girl would no longer be a potential, so I'm not sure your suggestion really works, GB.

I've actually made some changes to the 'What is a Slayer' section, to include some information about the Potentials. All other changes have been made.

It's very good but I have a few points to make.

Firstly, there are quite a few speeling mistakes. Can you run it through a spell-checker?

Secondly, there are a number of spoilers. Could you include a spoiler warning in the introduction?

Thirdly, it seems to me that you don't really explain about Buffy's world at the beginning. Perhaps a section explaining about vampires, demons, the hellmouth, the slayer etc.

There are also quite a few words italiscised where this is not neccessary.

Anyway, great job!

I don't understand what you mean about spoilers though, the shows been over for a couple of years now and the BBC have shown all episodes.

And those people whho still haven't seen them or might be inspired to see them by the entry? Could do with being warned, I feel.

Sorry if I sound harsh; I really do think this is good and deserves to get into the guide, but because this is the update forum not peer review, we can't rely on sub editors so we have to get it right here!

I'll have to think about what else I can add as a further explanation. I do think the entirity of the article does give many of the explanations required, but I will see what I can do.

One other thing. I was considering placing the 'What is a Slayer' and 'What is a Watcher' after the cast, rather than right at the bottom of the page. What do you think?

It would probably be better in terms of explaining the premise of the show.
