I am taking a trip to beijing to visit my friend from college. She contacted me a year ago and I asked if it would be alright for me to come and visit with her. She didn't comfortably speak english before and I don't think she does now. I would really like to know some basic phrases and things I could say to her. I would also like to know some things not commonly listed in handy phrase books like: please speak more slowly, and random things i dont have many ideas ...
