3d mobius strips

I know I know, a normal mobius strip is already 3d... but it's flat!
I used a 3d modeller to make a loop with four sides... except it was twisted around so it only had one side!
It should be perfectly doable to create something similar in real life... Anyone seen a thing like this?

Yep. I've made one from clay. You can also twist it only part way around to make something like it, but it has two sides (starting with four) I wonder if you could rig it up with three?
