I have (seriously) heard that there's a football team there, whose supporters sometimes embark upon a very long chant.

I have another interesting factoid. The town's name was used in the sci-fi B-movie Barbarella starring Jane Fonda. Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch was used to humerous effect as the secret word for the resistance movement on a planet governed by evil forces.

And I'm sure Jane carried it off woth great ablomb. Well maybe they should cast Catherine Zeta Jone's in a remake.

They are hoping to do a remake, and the most common rumor is that Drew Barrymore will star. (Sorry for straying off-topic, folks)
