The woman, Lakhvir Kaur Singh, 40, was alleged to have used aconite to poison her lover of 15 years, Lakhvinder Cheema, 39, and his new lover, Gurjeet Choough, 21.
Sing died but Choough recovered after being put into a medically-induced coma to stabilise her heartbeat.
