Local councils are toying with the idea of turning some street lights off for reasons of economy. As a boy during world war two allthe street lamps were turned offand the windows of every house in town were sealed. The Blackout. The downside of this was that anyone abroad at night could walk into a lamppost. the upside was the most glorious sky you could imagine. the children of today are being robbed of a vision that can only be described as indescribable.
