Four seasons or two

This is a clear explanation of the four seasons, but many tropical countries just have the two, wet and dry. You'd expect from the astronomical explanation given that there'd just be one in equatorial areas.
I live near Manchester. We just have the wet season here. It rains a lot. It's raining now. Raining hard. On other days it just drizzles. Ho hum. :{
