What's happened to all the entries about players that were going to be included in the project?
BTW it was only four European nations at the first WC in 1930.

Writing all those player Entries on top of 10 Entries on tournaments was more than I could manage, BBS - and no-one else stepped forward to help out, so it became a 'History of the World Cup' project instead of following the original plan. However, I have written an Entry on Pele (A757451) which currently has 'pending' status, and my Entry on Dino Zoff (A601769) is currently in sub-editing limbo. I'm also halfway through one on Franz Beckenbauer, which I hope to finish this weekend. If you don't think that's enough Entries on players, you could always write one yourself!
