i went to see bs at brixton academy last autumn, and it was my understanding that jacqui actually decided to leave the day before/day of that concert. the band certainly seemed completely thrown by the news, and had a few problems with the set (not helped by a recalcitrant sound system...). if she really had left yonks before then, i'm very surprised. that definitely was not the impression i got.
