Conversation:

It was originally a '68 that had pieces from various later years on it, including a '73 Ghia engine, a 1300 that had been boosted to 1600 with new jugs. I called it Julius and it had a crude Groucho face spray-painted on the nose.

I resurrected it from a field. Well, a vacant lot.
I drove it for about two years in the early nineties, and then had to sell it to a local VW yard because of a sad series of events.

I wish I still had him.

But now I've got Harpo, an '83 Dodge Prospector van, although it's not running at the moment.
