(she would sit them on opposite sides of a room and get them started saying that as a means of driving her kat rightly insaine)

I imagine it's a pre-programmed sound...

The simple fact is, even a PC would have trouble learning sounds and using them properly. A furbie doesn't come close to having as much processing power... memory... 's just not doable.
