Can I dispose of this myth for once and all?

A microwave does not cook from the inside out. It causes all water and fat atoms to vibrate faster, creating friction in all the places where these molecules exist. Heat created near the surface of - say - your potato will convect to the atmosphere, thus creating the impression of the surface being cooler than the middle.

You know, females often say these daft things, like leaving a light switch on, rather than turnng off and on when we go in room, because males tell us this, and like fools, we believe them. smiley - laugh
