"This road no longer exists - it use to run parallel"- that should read "used to run..."

Actually Sam, I didn't mean for you to follow the suggestion *quite* that literally- the 'it' should still be there, I just meant used rather than use..... Sorry if I caused any confusion smiley - blush

First of all please don't take the micky! Alice Grace happens to be family. She chose to live the way she did despite being offered help, maybe you should have done your research a little better as there are several members of her family still alive and well. Maybe you should have asked us before hand. It is often the case ,when People research my great Aunt that her family is never consulted, (and some of us don't exactly aprecaiate that!!)and thats when facts are missed out.

I do mention in the article that she chose to live that way, refusing to go to the work house etc.

My research was based on all the existing information I could find from various sources, and nowhere was living family mentioned- I can't consult them if I don't know they exist!

If you have anything to add to the enrty, then post beneath the existing entry, that way your knowledge bceomes part of the Guide- any information you have is of course welcomed smiley - ok
