A Conversation for William Shakespeare - Playwright

There are many inaccuracies in this entry..e.g. as son of an Alderman, Shakespeare would have been allowed to attend the Grammar School for nothing.
There is only circumstantial evidence that John Shakespeare 'fell on hard times' - and that is very slight. In fact, he sold none of Mary Arden's property, but leased it to various relations in order to avoid bunkruptcy. As a recusant his property could be confiscated to pay his fines.
