All fans of the original radio series will, I'm sure, join with me in mourning the passing of Geoffrey Perkins, whose influence on the development of the Guide was probably second only to that of Douglas himself.

His other most distinctive contribution to British popular culture was the game Mornington Crescent:

A sad loss.

Very sad, I am sure he will join Douglas Adams in the Afterlife and perhaps meet up for a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster at Milliways...he also was the creater of Mornington Crescent which is very popular on H2G2 so I would think he will finally be able to explain the rules to Humph.
