Hello and welcome to My Space,
the real Dr Anthea Name: Anthea Age: 25 Habitat: northwest England, in lancashire, 1 Nationality: Scottish! 2 Occupation: Self employed potter/artist, Housewife and Mother Interests: general/fantasy RP games, classical and punk music, avid reader of The DiscWorld series and The Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy trilogy Pets: 1 cat and a husband, oh yes and two boys
so who is this Dr Anthea?
Dr Anthea is happily Married to Khamsin
Well one of my first trials on H2G2 was to find something to do apart from all those wonderful adventures that I take part in, I wanted to find something to do myself, and so I created a doctors surgery to give psychological advice to all those H2G2 addicts out there, the results of which can still be found here: The Psychiatrist's office after a very small success and getting involved in many other adventures I thought to myself, Anthea, you know what this place needs? a guild of money hungry back stabbing Assassins, and hence the The Assassins Guild was created.

It seems to have been one of those weeks where I constantly seem to be doing something but nothing is getting done
Joseph and I managed to sneak half an hour to ourselves today, it feels like its been a long time since we got any time with just the two of us I'm sure you don't need to use your imaginations
the trouble with spending all your time with children is sometimes you forget what it feels like to have time without them... it's wonderful
we've both been applying for jobs, its a race to see who gets the first interview the problem with being a graduate is we're "overqualified" for a lot of things with no experience for others it can get quite frustrating but hopefully things will go well
I've been knitting quite a bit in the evenings when I get the chance, I've made most of a small owl for Charlie, Ephraim would like an octopus I've been thinking about baking too, I want to make some brownies soon... chocolate gooey brownies and some flowerpot bread (well we are potters)
It's the cousins birthday on sunday he will be 6 it's a star wars party so I got him star wars operation
Charlie is 10 months old now (doesn't time fly) and can stand unaided (but only until he notices he is doing so) soon he will be toddling around and getting into even more mischief (if that's even possible)

Cleaning 2 Weeks Ago
today I've been very busy cleaning, and I don't mean special spring cleaning I mean the ritualistic scrubbing the kitchen and vacuum sock obstical course that happens every morning.
so I thought lets devise a game from this
so how long does it take to clean
for each room thats not the kitchen living-room or bed-room + 30 minuets for living rooms and bedrooms + 45 minuets for kitchen + 1 hour for each child living in the house + 10 to 15 years for each visiting child + 2 hours (+ time visited) for each pet + 1 hour for dish washer - 1 hour for working vacuum - 20 minutes per room vacuumed children go to college + 5 years children leave home - 10 years grandchildren + 8 years
gosh this is starting to add up to quite a bit...
gardening + 1 year per veg plot/flower bed
any more you can think of?
* times may not accurately represent time actually spent cleaning, some of the time is feeling like you've been cleaning or panicking that it needs cleaned

Copper and Wool Apr 7, 2013
Today marks Joe and I's seventh wedding anniversary we're not celelebrating much today we've no money till the middle of the month. but... I am cooking a rack of pork which we are having with Yorkshire puddings there is a small chocolate cake I bought yesterday (yes I don't bake them all myself - though i will probably complain i could have made better...)
It's been a long seven years, up's down's and in betweens as I'm sure all couples have, hopefully there will be another seven and more to come.
we are hoping to be at the mini Manchester meet this week (Wednesday) so whoever else is there hopefully we will see you,
now I'm off to finish dinner and run the vacuum across the floor in the vain hope that it will stay tidy till tomorrow morning

werische Mar 29, 2013
Middle english; Insipid - generally used in relation to food - the scots version is Wersh but we always said werishe
It's been one of those types of time I guess, the weather has been horrid and days have passed with little to differenciate them from one another I have been avoiding going out too much due to the bitterly cold winds as I thought it wouldn't be good for Charlie, hoever as a result we have both gotten a little board of each others company I think so as today is a break in the weather and the start of the school easter brake he's gone out with daddy and big brother to go see some trains and play out (although it is still quite chilly so he's wrapped up warm)
for Easter we are getting together with Joe's family ? and having easter dinner together, I find I am growing more homesick and would really like to go upto Scotland at some point soon but we just can't afford the cost of accommodation at the moment plus with us not driving it would need to be by public transport which isn't always the best of things
Charlie is teething (still) although there seems to be very little by way of actual teeth growth when you look in there and he has just this week learned a sort of commando crawl to get across the room, although he is easily frustrated by this mode of transportation and would rather walk across the room which is only possible if you hold both his hands and move very slowly which has lead to me having back and shoulder problems recently so I think a very warm bath is on the cards at some point soon
Tomorrow I have a mammoth lot of baking to do and I will be making some more of my chocolate and cherry cupcakes A87787822 (currently in peer review) and I have a chocolate tart/flan planned to go with easter dinner (I will write about that one after easter)
so hopefully things are looking up (please no more snow) and spring is on it's way
well... one can only hope
Anthea
bairns Feb 26, 2013
Bairns - Children/Babies/Youngsters
Half term holidays are hard work
Birthday went well. my big boy is now five - an age at which the nhs stops sending you letters for "baby " and starts sending them to "master "
Amazon has lost one of my parcels, well not Amazon exactly the parcel delivery company, I have called amazon who say they are looking into it, I shan't hold my breath I'm likely to pass out before I hear where they have decided it's gotten to and send a replacement, hopefully not with the same delivery company
I would like to point out now that it was intended as a valentines gift so it has been lost for a little while now
Joe is away on a course friday till sunday, I may be a little crazy by the time he gets home, still hopefully he will enjoy himself
Anthea
