Universal Calendar : Index
Created | Updated Aug 24, 2003
There are only 2 normal types of year: a leap-year (366 days) and a non-leap-year (365 days). When the calendar was redesigned to take into account the drift caused by previous inexact calculations there was a one-off exceptional year which skipped a few days. However, most people don't need a calendar for that year.
Even if one takes into account named days of the week (7) there are still only 14 possible calendars. So there is little need to buy a "new" one every year unless interested in the location of national or religious holidays. Instead simply write the year (and possibly day names) onto a copy of a template calendar or year planner.
