The Bizarre Pinnacles of Quiraing (under construction)

0 Conversations

The Bizarre Pinnacles of Quiraing, are not only Pinnacles, but they are extrememly bizarre. Located towards the nothern end of the Trotternish Peninsula. Trotternish is from the Norse, meaning Thrond's Place. There were a lot of Norse around at the time. They were very keen on the Greenland Kippers, you see.

Trotternish is one of the most beautiful parts of Skye, and the Quiraing is one of it's most striking features.

Climbing into the pinnacles, you get that "Picnic at Hanging Rock" feeling, the sound of the wind dies away, towers of rock loom all around you...(to be continued)
