It's a Grand Night (Day, Whatever) for Singing

Multi-wavelength image of Abell 520 showing the aftermath of a complicated collision of galaxy clusters Hi, there, music lovers. We've been going on and on about music this June – what we like, what we don't like, where/when/how we experience it, and etcetera. We conclude the theme in this issue with more tidbits (or smiley - titbits, if you will): Rod's waxed poetical, the cartoonists are singing (that duck looks like he's about to burst into 'Puttin' on the Ritz'), and there's a quiz. For the quiz, you're going to have to dredge up your memories from Music Appreciation class, but it's worth it. (We hope you can deal with the trauma.)

It's not all musical, but it's all wonderful. There is more astronomical news, more travel, more wildlife to admire, another cinematic excursion. . . you get the idea.

So get cracking with the reading, enjoy yourselves, and remember to Send More Stuff. (Isn't it awful, this relentless pressure?)

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
