What are they doing up there?

Space: The Final Frontier

The ISS.

The folks aboard the ISS work hard. Honest. They're out there advancing the threshold of knowledge. They, er, boldly go where no human has gone before. Okay, while floating round and round and round over the most spectacular view in the known universe, but give them a break. Or two.

They can't all be rock stars like Commander Hadfield, who sings with Barenaked Ladies while dancing his weightless guitar around. So what do they do?

They watch movies. Last week, they got to watch Star Trek into Darkness. Yes, the sci-fi people beamed the movie into orbit. Cool, huh?

We're sure the ISS crew liked the movie better than Awix did. (Or at least, if they didn't, they'll be too polite to say so.) We're sure, too, that NASA packed them some space-appropriate snacks.

Romulan ale, anyone?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
