  1. Guess. Antikythera mechanism. World's oldest analog computer. Web surf on this.
  2. Guess. Baghdad battery. World's oldest galvanic cell. Careful: you could get a shock.
  3. Guess. George Washington's Bathtub. A natural mineral spring used by a historical figure in the 18th century. Well, it makes a change from places he slept.
  4. Guess. Thomas Jefferson's polygraph. An 18th-century copy machine. Maybe he, and not Al Gore, invented the internet.
  5. Guess. Pillar of Delhi. 7-meter rust-resistant column from the 5th Century CE. World's oldest wrought iron lawn ornament.
  6. Guess. Bas-relief of Seti I. A striking wall decoration from ancient Egypt. Could be a real conversation piece.
  7. Guess. Universalis Cosmographia. Martin Waldseemüller's 1507 world map. I can see Willem's house from here. It's almost like Google Streetview.
  8. Guess. Antarctic meteorite. An interesting space rock from NASA's collection. Looks good in your living room.
  9. Guess. Shroud of Turin. Old (how old?) burial cloth allegedly containing the imprint of the body of the crucified Christ. Hoax or no hoax, an object of wonder in the textile line.
  10. Guess. Hero of Alexandria's whatsit. A water organ, it makes bird noises. And you thought calliopes were bad.
