I agree with kelli. You are so brave for doing this. Posting it here, is probably brave, but living with your cancer is much, much more so. Here's a smiley - cuddle to you and your family.

Bels, you're the best smiley - smiley

Well times like these bring out the sentimental in me! You did start your entry with a Wilfred Own poem and it started me off. I hope this next week goes well - I'm off to Denmark next week on my hols, so I'll catch up with you after that.

Anna, do have the most marvellous time in Denmark! If you are in Copenhagen I can recommend an excellent internet cafe called Boomtown, in the Axel Torv right opposite the Tivoli. And do let me know what you think of the Black Diamond - love it or hate it?

My next update will be datelined 22 May, which is yesterday, but I can't necessarily post stuff immediately it's written.

Otto, smiley - tea always hits the spot. Cheers mate.

Hi Bels

Just dropped by to offer a smiley - hug and some pointless, repetitive platitudes you're probably sick off by now, so I'll forget the platitudes and just offer a smiley - hug and some best wishes, sympathy and so on... damn, that was a platitude, wasn't it? Ah well.

smiley - hug

Egon.

Hi, Bels!

I just dropped by to offer some smiley - tea and sympathy too...and some serious admiration for how well and movingly you've written about your situation. I've always been happy to read whatever you chose to write - I just never expected it to be something like this.

Hello Azara

Yes, funny old world sometimes, isn't it? Who'd have thought it? Anyway, I'm pushing on with writing it up for now, while the muse is with me, as it were.

Of course I've got A1053145 in Peer Review at the moment, seems to be in the doldrums a bit, so if you have time do wander over and say something.

Anyway, thanks for dropping in - see you around.

Dear Bels,

Good news about your battle plans smiley - ok It's great that you've been blessed with a good consultant. Do you like him as a person, as well as for his expertise and tactics?

I had the most marvellous time in Denmark. We were in Arhus rather than Copenhagen, though that will definitely be on the agenda the next time we go. I loved it. See F21362?thread=282859

Do I like him as a person? Well, I've never met him socially, if that's what you mean! But as a consultant he seems fine, and certainly more congenial to me than some. And he has quite a reputation. So it's good to have someone you have confidence in.

I'm so glad that you appear to be getting top of the range treatment - I fear that not everyone does. Good too that the treatment is under way. The gaps in between when nothing is happening must be very frustrating.
Still thinking of you & the family.
