FAAAAAAAAAAAN-TASTIC! what a tune! I don't have the original version, though.. even Better, I have the LIVE!!! at Wembeley!!! 1986!!!(the year I was born!!!) Audio!!! and Video!!! versions!!! (though, the video version doesn't have it on there

) But it is absolutely fantastic Stuff
I also am really motivated by "I want it all"
I'm not sure what album it's from though, because most of my collection is made up from "Best of..." or "Greatest Hits / Flix" Albums/Videos.. Like I have Greates Flix II, Greatest Hits II, Innuendo, Live at wembeley 1986, A Night at the Opera, Made in Heaven, Queen II and several others I just can't name right now
But... Lap of the gods... FANTASTIC!

Mustapha.... (Utter pants for a Queen song, I simply can't understand why it got on the album.)
I've not listened to Jazz for a while, maybe I'll have to sort that out.
A Question for you all....
I was sure that "Spread Your Wings" was a single - am I right or am I wrong. Unless it's just that it appeared on the live album, which has thrown me. I seem to remember a video with Freddie releasing a dove (he was stood in the middle of the stage) I thought this was the vid to "Spread Your Wings". If it was, why hasn't the track appeared on a "Greatest Hits" CD?
Answers on a postcard to....

The video with Freddie releasing a
is 'Save Me'. The video of 'Spread Your Wings' is set in Roger's garden in the middle of winter, with snow on the ground and the band wearing many layers of clothing. The video of 'We Will Rock You' was shot at the same time (I'm referring to videos on 'Greatest Flix' here - there may well be alternative versions..!)
I don't know whether 'Spread Your Wings' was a single. If not, it certainly ought to have been - John Deacon's finest hour!

Hi Bassman,
Indeed, it's been a while. We have only one pc here at home atm, Shazz' machine gave up one fine evening and getting things repaired as per the guarantee takes a little while if you go to Dynabite...
I heard from the repairs-department that the motherboard, the Pentium III, the DVD-player and the soundcard were all shot to H*ll. They asked if lightning had struck! This is the first crash they have had that was so severe... No wonder if you don't build a fuse in your internal powersupply.
Here I am, just put up a network at home(o.k. o.k. just the two pc's), just had a cable-connection installed, and one of the pc's blows up!
Anyway, I heard that it has been repaired now so I should be back online more frequently in a week or so...
BTW : Just bought Innuendo(one of the few Queen-albums I did not already have). Extremely powerful album! Reminds me of the first five : not a bad song on it! And then the guy dies on me...
Oh well, at least they recorded a fair amount of albums for posterity.
Greetz,
TM.

The first album I heard of theirs was A Night At The Opera - it blew me away. I was into Abba before that not that they were a bad band, just significantly different.
The one thing I like about this forum is the fact that we're talking about songs that were released on vinyl and referring to them as albums!! Strange how the perception of a collection of an artist's output seems to have changed with the media it appears on. It has for me.

most of our Queen collection is on vinyl- I was brought up on them and now record them onto tape so I can listen to them anywhere! Much more portable- but for me there is something about vinyl, i don't know why.
