If you've written an Entry to the best of your ability, or just want some feedback from the community, you can submit it to a Review Forum. Selecting a Review Forum to submit it to is crucially important, and that's what this page is all about. So which Review Forum should you submit it to? Well, it all depends on what you want to happen.
If you are still writing an Entry, and you want advice on how you can improve the Entry and make it more likely to go in the Edited Guide, then you'll want to submit it to the Writing Workshop.
If you are working on an Entry and suddenly realise it's too much work for one person then it might be worth sending it to the Writing Workshop and seeing if anyone picks up your SOS.
If you have an Entry which has been written in complete accordance with the Writing Guidelines, and you want it to go in the Edited Guide, then submit it to Peer Review so people can praise it and/or point out things you might have missed, corrections that might need to be made, or even give you bit of info that might be worth researching 1. It is important to remember that,if your piece becomes Edited, you retain a copy of the original for yourself. You do *not* own the copyright to the Edited version and need to acquire permission from the Sub-Editor and the Italics if you want to publish the Edited version elsewhere.
If, however, you are pig sick of an entry, you can't be bothered with it anymore, but you don't feel it's right to just throw away the research, then submit it to the Flea Market. On the whole very few people search through the flea market to pick up entries, but it happens from time to time and it is better than just dumping it.
If you have a marvelous creative writing Entry, or another form of writing that doesn't conform to the guidelines for Peer Review, but you still want feedback from the community it might be worth putting it in the Alternative Writing Workshop.
Now if we were to be honest about these review forums Peer review is the busiest (like the M25 except it moves), and the others can be a bit on the quiet side (in the same way as a country road is quiet). Now you could very well change all this by going around commenting on entries in the workshop and picking up entries with potential from the flea market, but at present that is how things stand.
