I wish that my feelings of support, sympathy, admiration (I'm not good with words...) could make a difference for you. I wish your support meetings could go on, and that you get that venting place.

Because, of course it gets heavy, taking care of another, of course it wears you out, but still you go on. I get that. I can't actually feel the way you feel, but I get that you feel it.

The closest I came was perhaps when the kids were small, and I felt totally worn out and inadequate, but that passed. Kids grow up. A loved one with chronic illness won't, and that must be so much worse.

Remember to take care of yourself too.

Thanks Milla. To be honest, I wouldn't want the pressure or responsibility of being a parent. I imagine the results at times are the same; tired, stressed and so forth. Yes, sometimes I don't get enough sleep and I don't get enough time to wind down but, you know, it's worth it isn't it?

Parenting was (is) tough, but yes, it is worth it. Seeing the kids grow up to be interesting, good people. And the love you get from a partner is indeed worth much effort.
