When combined with bank holiday weekends and hot weather, Sunday racing is a recipe for
total boredom on behalf of betting shop staff. There are far more exciting things to do,
such as leaf through the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, and possibly add a few pages,
so this is what I did, leaving the other two to look after the shop. Knowing our collective
luck, a coachload of customers has probably just arrived out of nowhere, like (as Zaphod
would say) a large drinks bill.
