I don't think we'll change the entry on the basis of this person's say so, although he does appear to know what he's talking about. It would be better if the authors of the article commented on it. These are MotDoc and Frenchbean, but in the circumstances, I think it would be better to leave Frenchbean for the moment, given her personal circumstances.

Yes, sure, but I thought I'd bring this to somebody's attention.
Maybe I should go and post the link to this thread there so that the Researcher know they're not being ignored?

thanks for following this up. Do I "know what I'm talking about"? Well, I've a degree in applied linguistics, training in anthropology and cultural acquisition and I'm specialised in Papua New Guinea where I've been and intend to return to do further work.
So, yes, you could say I have some reasonable insight into this topic.
By all means, don't take my word for it, but it would be good to edit the article to make it more balanced and certainly more reflective of the historical records that I referenced.
