Which reminds me of a joke. It involves a guy in a white robe marching around with a sign that says "The world really is ending,it's just late like everything else."

Danish Radio is selling tickets for a giant party 21 December where you can watch the world go under live - it is of course also aired live

It has been pointed out that tickets are not refundable

Perhaps the people nearest the time/date line will get together for a massive prank where they all pretend they've stopped existing the moment it turns midnight, thereby panicking the rest of the world.

That'll be when it's midnight here

Though...if it's midnight here at the same time it's midnight there, I'm guessing *something* catastrophic will have happened to the planet!

Has anyone else had some delay in getting
a receipt email after ordering. Usually I
get an email within minutes of placing an
online order but it has now been 48 hours.
Is this typical of LULU? Or should I order
it again?

On this American holiday of Thanksgiving I am thankful that we have community artists willing to put together a h2g2 calendar.
I am also thankful for my smiley.

That is what I have been trying to do but I had
ordered without 'Registering' as a member.

Now every link I click wants to know my 'member
number', 'order number' and 'ticket ID'.

Apparently one cannot 'connect' (Contact Us) if
one is not a Registered Member.



So I registered. And managed to send an email with
many fields left blank. There was no menu option for
my particular question and no way to type it in so
I clicked 'Item has not arrived'.

Now I fear I am seen as someone different than
the one who ordered.

I just got a form email explaining 101 reasons why
'the item has not arrived' all based on the expectation
that I have had a confirmation. But no consideration
whether the order has been placed or why it was not
confirmed.

I have now replied to their form letter but have no
faith that a human being will ever read it.

I'll let you know what happens.
