It is true!!

On the 23rd of May 2008 I turned Eighty years old - or young as some say.

This was in spite of the lovely DNA website insisting that my date of birth was incorrect.

I have been trying to get back onto this website since my computer was fiixed up in March. I was unsuccessful every time.

I have now reached the age sadly when my short term memory is beginning to falter.

No let us be brutally frank.

It disappears totally and completely for anything from a few seconds to total erasure of what I want to say/do/write even think

I have said it before - and I repeat if - for the last time I promise! - that

One has to be full of

Belief in the goodness of people.

I know that the brainchild of our founder DNA had that vision. I also know that there are a lot of friends/researchers on h2g2 who have all these qualities.

I hope that my friends will sign up again as my friends.

I can remember what we spoke about, in many cases I can remember your h2g2 names. And to those of you who wrote for my birthday, thank you . I shall reply when I am able to find the Safe place where I put your letters.

Lesson no 1 when you are eighty.

Never put anything in a safe place.

As sure as I am today is Sunday the 15th June 2008, I am equally sure that that I shall forget where the safe place is!!.

With much affection to you all.

Please write and keep an old lady happy. quiet and well!!.

I am now obliged to choose what sort of print I want it in. One of them I have problems reading. I hope that I shall be allowee to change it!!.
