Hi Dmitri!smiley - biggrin

I'm sub-editing your article From Ballets Russes to Ballet Noire: The Spectre of the Rose on Stage and Screen, the recommended version is here: A87784609 don't forget to subscribesmiley - ok

I'm a little confused by the different spellings of "Spectre" "Specter". In one paragraph you have both, I wonder if you'd check that's correct? The one which begins:

"The plot of The Specter of the Rose is almost as simple as that of the ballet:"

and ends with

"although the ballerina died onstage during a performance of Le Spectre de la Rose. To make things worse, Sanine has eloped with the next ballerina to play the part..."

Hi, GB. smiley - smiley I've just read it through, and it looks right.

I spelled the ballet 'Spectre de la Rose', because that's its title. I spelled the film 'Specter of the Rose', because that's the way the film company spelled it, being American. Is that all right?
