But, we won't stop posting in your fan club Deackie
fancy an

The
on here probably tastes a darn site better than the "northern muck" I have been drinking all night, tonight...
Guess ou have been busy Deackie, haven't seen you on here for a while; I haven't been on as much as useual, as descernable by my apaulling abscence from the most postings list (and to think I was once frequently at the top
), but project is dragging me away, and is still going slowely.. Until tomorrow that is

and

and

for Deackie

I have just noticed the state of my desk:: aside, underneath and aside the now,
almost 2 foot tall pile of journal articles, pearching ontop of the scanner, is a indecent number of sweet-wrappers, crisp-packets (empty obviously) a few:: 1, 2, 3, 4 I think, empty spring water bottles, a few empty beer cans, and an obscene quantity of crumbs, crisp crumbs and what looks like dust (its hard to tell with all the other junk covering it),
I think I need to clean my desk; otherwise I won't be able to find my computer, (
searches for telephone)
I know its here somewhere
beer cans, water-bottles have just toppled; I guess this is a hint that I should do something about it now

and
and

Yeah, its a pity, I guess its all your "funny" hours you work
but, if you are feeling
I guess you should
as you don't want to be tired for work/college tomorrow, even if I would prefer you stayed online.
Although, I am beginning to feel a bit
and think I might have a headache coming on,

Oh; I might be starting my project/thesis properly come next week
it now looks like I've changed what I am doing it on slightly, but what I have done so far is still very relivent to it; just the actual research itself will be better this way round
am I oaring you with all that thesis talk; its boaring the
out of me...

I don't mind the thesis talk. Sometimes it helps to bounce ideas of someone, even if that someone doesn't know what the
it all means
Funny hours but lousy minutes. Today was
can't really describe it. It was very, very busy. A lot of patients were acutely ill and the ward was short-staffed as usual. I didn't get a break today which meant going until 3-30pm without food and only having had very little to drink, but I did get to go down to endoscopy and watch a gastroscopy. That was really interesting and they've invited me to go down and watch other procedures too. I still haven't been to theatre yet to watch an op but there's still time and I feel like I've learnt loads. All the experience I've had previously has been medical so it's been great to do surgical.
I hope the headache isn't too bad.
Executive decision. I'll stay on-line a little bit longer because I probably won't sleep that well anyway and tomorrow is my last early until Monday so I can make up the sleep on Sunday. I'll get ready for bed inbetween posting to save time. Mmm, am I organising my life

These are the new super nurses you may have heard talk of. They are able to work 10 shifts in a row, including long days, they do the junior doctors' work as well as their own, they manage to look after 22 patients because of staff shortages, they don't eat, they don't sleep, in their little spare time they attend college courses and do prep and of course, because they can cope with all this they will never make a mistake.
I thinking of asking the Govt, if they would like me to write their next campaign to recruit new nurses. Of course I would mention all the added extras too, the
stuff, the ingratitude, the verbal abuse and the risk of violent attacks. Do you think the campaign would work?
Aaggghh!! I'm sounding bitter and political again. I think I'll just get myself a soapbox and stand in hide park. Sorry.
