First of all, make sure you're set to use GuideML. At the bottom of the editing page, you should have the choice to use GuideML or plain text. When using GuideML, make sure you start the page off with
and end it with
I think this should be done automatically when you set your page for GuideML, but you might want to check to make sure. Once you've got that worked out, simply insert wherever you want the image to appear. The EMBED="RIGHT" lines the picture up on the right side of the page. You can change this to EMBED="CENTER" or EMBED="LEFT" if you want if positioned differently, though. The BBC won't allow us to use images from external web sites, but there is a collection of H2G2 specific pictures here http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/C809 if you want to check them out.
If you want to know more about GuideML, you can go here http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/GuideML-Clinic
Remember that if you're using GuideML, you will have to use something like <SMILEY TYPE="type"/> to use smileys (where "type" refers to the name of the smiley you wish to use), instead of just typing out < smiley >.
Of course, if you're already using GuideML (or if you know a bit about HTML), this may be a little more information than you actually needed, but in any case, that's how it works.

I checked out your page to see if I could help, but it looks like you've changed it back to the way was. The gurus will probably be able to help, but feel free to ask me if you like.

Well, you see, I'm only mostly dead. There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead...

The undead also stay in coffins. I think they usually avoid the urns, though. They're probably a little too cramped.

Well if it was a really BIG urn, like some of the Greek ones, they can be about 10ft tall. But it would be kinda weird to sleep in one: you'd have to lie in a sorta u shape

Yeah. It would be pretty cool to have one, though. It'd be a heck of a conversation piece.
"What? This old thing? Well, I just curl up in a U-shape and sleep in there at night."

Except that it might go more: duuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrr, braaaaaaaaaainnnnnsss. And saying that you sleep in it is about as far as you can go.

I don't know...I can imagine a conversation going something like this
"So, you sleep in it, do you?"
"duuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrr, braaaaaaaaaainnnnnsss."
"That's very interesting. Where did you get it?"
"duuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrr, braaaaaaaaaainnnnnsss."
"Really? You know, my husband and I were just thinking of vacationing there. What's it like?"
"duuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrr, braaaaaaaaaainnnnnsss."
"Really...I heard--ACK..."
"munch...munch...munch..."

Followed by:
"Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrr Braaaaaaaiiiiinnnnnsss"
"Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrr Braaaaaaaiiiiinnnnnsss"
"Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuurr Braaaaaaaaiiiiinnnnnsss"
Until some adventurer blows them and many other horrors from beyond the grave to pieces*Ahem! HouseoftheDead! Ahem!*
