Sea change i have been meaning to congratulate you for sometime about your weather reports. They are fantastic. How would you cope in the UK this year I wonder, with our dull and leaden skies. I am now reduced to praying for sunshine.
mind you I did spend half the winter in Australia, returned in mid may to my London garden which had run riot under warm spring sun. But lately its been a pig of miserable weather. Please if you know any weather spells for sunshine, send them to London..........

Thank you! Much like pain, noone's sensation of the weather is exactly the same, which is why it is so interesting to talk about it.
Well, redpeckamwithknobsie, everyone talks about the weather, but noone *does* anything about it.
In the UK I would probably melt away like the Wicked Witch of the West. I would probably also find out the true color of my birthday suit, since I am a nudist, love the sun, and will likely die of my heart problems before skin cancer; I haven't seen my natural color in years. LA sun is harsh on blue eyes, so sunspecs are a necessity here. It would feel funny to be where people could see my rare colored eyes, but not where they'd be so rare anymore.
It is true that mudslide is one of the four seasons here (the others being wildfire, riot, and earthquake) but this is because there isn't enough rain to break down montmorillonite clays that millionaire stars & other celebs never had the sense to not build on. (more than any indication of raininess).
Most spells I know then, are for getting it to actually rain instead of stopping it. How about a general plea to a god of mercy like Kwannon or Uhura Mazda?
