Greetings from Saudi Arabia
Hello! My name is Miriam Willmott, and I am Bernadette Lynn's sister from Saudi Arabia. I was born in Hemel Hempstead, England, and moved to Riyadh when I was six weeks old. I have grown up here, only visiting England for two months every summer. I play the violin in an Orchestra and in a folk band called The Frillyknickers, although I also play classical music.
My family also includes four dogs - a Sloughi called Josh, a Tibetan Terrier called Susie, a Havanese called Bella and a Japanese Chin called Pogo. We have a cat, four goldfish, four terrapins, nine tortoises, four parrots, three chickens and a spiny tailed lizzard called Hermes. Needless to say ours is a very noisy household 8-)
Saudi Arabia is a very hot country, but in the winter and springtime the weather is lovely. At the moment all the tropical plants are out in bloom, and I am making the most of the cool weather before it gets too hot to go outside.
I live in a big white villa with a garden lined with Eucalyptus trees and bougainvilliae bushes. I have a big swimming pool and a little pond where the terrapins live. People come to the house every day for violin lessons, and the dogs love it because they can get all excited and bark at everyone!
