Feel free to be critical - I've read comments about obvious plot holes and the likes on imdb, so no big deal. I hope you found it entertaining, at least.

We thoroughly enjoyed it, *all* of us. That's two adults a 16 a 15 and 8 year old. It's not easy to please my eldest, either (although he thought Gnomeo and Juliet was funny after the initial 'meh')
I loved the car chase. We play a lot of racing games here (Dirt3 and Test Drive Unlimited have just be hired) and we were saying 'wall', 'careful there's a car' 'you can't drive over the roundabout' causing much hilarity.
I was convinced that Forest would die saving Anna and was very happy when he wasn't.
Good recommendation.

Yeah, the car chase was quite exceptional. Did you see there's a clip of part of it on imdb?

Glad you all enjoyed it. Might have to rent or buy it myself, I think I would enjoy watching it again.

Oh, and I found a piece of the background music on youtube, and I'm using it on youtube replay for my current session of Oblivion. Makes my character rush boldly through all the mines and grottos.

Can you recall which was the first computer game you ever played?
Me, I think it was Duke Nukem. Along with another game I've forgotten the name of.
Yup, this looks like the quality of graphics back then:

My first console was a SNES (I've still got it). The first game was Super Mario World - still an absolute classic and I wonder why they've not adapted it for the WII or the DS (both of which we also have) so I played Donkey Kong Country, Smash TV, Street Fighter and lots of other boswallox.
Switch to Playstation on its release, moved on to PS2 now on XBOX 360.
I still have a couple of PS1, PS2, an old Xbox and a Gamecube, as well as the Nintendo bits. We have several games for each console although the older ones aren't used as much by the adults.
I love gaming...

You're right about thinking Forest would die saving Anna though, I thought so too. Is it because we've been fed the image of a 'noble hero sacryfying his/her life' too many times, or was there something in the film that was leading us into that direction of thought/assumption?

GoT (possible spoiler)
Have you ever gotten the first character to survive after beating the boss when the rest of the gang jumps him? Just curious if it's possible, or if maybe the story is meant to be that he dies.

Ah, it was possible, but now I'm thinking the outcome might be different if I had done all the quest parts... drat, I can see I'll need to replay this sooner or later.

Not sure what version of Vantage Point this is, and not sure it's completely legal either, but here goes:
