Naturalist: Book Reviewed
Created | Updated Sep 28, 2002
Edward O Wilson is one of the leading entomologists of our age. His book Naturalist is his attempt to learn more fully why I now think the way I do, to clarify the elements at the core of my beliefs to you and to myself, and perhaps to persuade.
Wilson is not only a naturalist in the first rank, he is also a skilled storyteller. He writes in simple and direct prose, a skill rare among academic intellectuals. His story is about the making of a scientist.
This book is an excellent, alluring read that Fu-Manchu feels sure you will enjoy as much as he did. Borrow it from the library or buy a copy from your local bookshop and see for yourself.
