Some are pretty neat. Thanks for all the help getting the pictures to DG for the front page. I also liked your comments in Ask. Very cogent. Thanks for all your contributions.

smiley - hug thanks
Sorry, I think I didn't reply to one of your emails and thanks a lot for the e-card. We have a car now but still waiting for the winter tires and today there was snow. This means we can't drive until the tires are changed next weekend.
But Im very happy about the car. smiley - smiley

Also how are your parents doing? How is the BF? Are you still gaming together? How is your pussycat doing? She is so pretty, no wonder you miss her.

My parents are fine, they just booked their flight to the USA for next spring. Mum always wanted to see the desert in spring. Unfortunately my grandpa had a second stroke, he is in hospital and quite confused and as he has to lie down now we are afraid he won't be able to walk anymore when he comes home - he could hardly walk for about a year already.

BF is fine but struggling a bit at uni. He is studying physics and it's really difficult at the moment. But obviously all people have problems and it seems like they can usually pass the courses in the following year when they hear everything again. We are hopeful.

Yes, we are still gaming together, although not as much as we did. We don't have so much time at the moment. Yesterday we discovered preview videos of an MMO that will be released next year. It looks not like all these new polished 'barbie-style' MMOs but more like earlier games and we really like that. I hope there will be a beta test which we can join.

The cat is ok. Unfortunately the vet had to pull a few teeth so she has now only one left on one side, she'll have to get used to chewing on the other. We pity her but it was necessary. Otherwise she is only complaining about winter. She hardly goes outside because she doesn't like the cold weather - and the real cold is yet to come. She (and the neighbours' cats) is also slightly scared because we have a bunny living in our garden. She (the bunny) escaped from another neighbor and is now living in our bushes. Mum brings her carrots and stuff every day. My parents refuse to catch her and bring her back because she seems so happy. She was in the garden most of this year.

And how are you? And the cats?

I am still kinda down about not having a job. Cats are fine. Each one has their tricks but judging by the state of their litter boxes all systems are go for them.

smiley - cool about the bunny in the garden. smiley - goodluck to your BF with his studies. Being a lousy physics student myself, I don't have any good tips for him.

Have you got winter tires for the mystery car yet?

smiley - hug sorry to hear that you still don't have a job smiley - sadface

My bf seems to understand everything they tell in the lectures but the exercises (calculations) are extremely difficult and they don't explain at all how it's supposed to work. He has to find everything in books by himself. smiley - erm But they said they will explain it next year, which should help.

We get the tires tomorrow, the shop had to order them. The car is a small red Honda. smiley - smiley

Oh, that is really smiley - cool. I like red because it's more visable to other drivers and they can't really claim they didn't see you.

Yes, it looks really nice. smiley - smiley And it is good to drive, has an a/c and a lot of space on the inside. It looks much smaller from outside.

It seems to be rather compact, so it should be easy to park.

It is, yes. They even built the engine higher but not so wide so there's more space for the passengers. And the back seats are very variable for transportation, you can fold them up and down.

I tried many cars during the last months but this really was the best.

Is it good with gas mileage too? That is a great consideration since gas (petrol) is so expensive in Europe.

Yes, it's good in this respect too. smiley - smiley It even tells you how much fuel you need on an average, but I didn't drive enough to tell you about this yet.
And it has a green light that goes on when you drive efficiently and use little gas.

The hybrid version of the car even has little flowers that shine when you need little fuel. smiley - laugh
