As well as the discussions on h2g2 and BBC Devon, I suggest you also visit the following web-site
I have pulled together a few pages on Celtic Devon - Dewnans, with sections on Ancient Dumnonia, mining, Devon's stannary parliaments, Culture Customs and Traditions, and the Western Rebellion.
I can't claim the credit for all of this, as I plagiarised ideas from freinds, colleagues, family (esp my brother), the discussion boards I have read, and from a (sometimes hazy) recollection of books I have read at some time.
I intend to add more detail as time goes on.
If you have any good information, ideas or leads let me know

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
