The Lair of the Boring One.
Once upon a time, in the top right-hand corner of England, there lived a Runescribe. It wasn't a very big Runescribe, or a very important Runescribe, but it was all there was.
Runescribe is a furry humanoid creature of indeterminate sex. It is currently studying towards an MChem, editing its first book and writing its second. It would rather be an author than a chemist, but blowing things up would be a good second prize.
