Dreams of Starlight by rose-quartz

Cinnamon-scented air,

A taste of wine almost,

In the frosted blue

Of heaven's glass

He can taste it

On this night,

A night caught, like his memories

In a web of starlight,

Reminds him of a dream

Lost now, in the cold light

Of a single, lonely star,

The only dream he has now,

To find for his wife,

A shelter and a bed for the night.
